Work We’ve

carried out.

  • Intake valves

    Intake valve walnut blasting on a bmw n54.

    Customer had a boost leak around manifold seals. Whilst replacing them we went the extra mile and cleaned up those intake valves with a good walnut blast to ensure this n54 ran 100%.

  • Misfire

    Misfire diagnoses and fix on this n54.

    Customer was running in to misfires under boost on the odd occasion. Tracked this back to a faulty coil.

  • Starter

    Starter motor replacement on a golf gti.

    Customer ran in to issues with their car not cranking. After extensive diagnosing found the issue to be a faulty starter motor with worn out brushes.

  • Modifications

    Intake replacement on a golf gti.

    Customer had purchased some afterarket modifications and requested we fit them. Fitted a new intake/filter assy as well as replacing a faulty diverter valve.

  • Taillights

    Taillight refresh on an e92.

    Customer had issues with his stock e92 taillights. Both cracked and leaking. He sourced a LED set from a local supplier and we fitted them for him. Nice little upgrade from the previous set.

  • N54 Valve cover

    N54 Valve Cover

    Customer was experiencing an extremely bad oil leak that was dripping on to the downpipes, which was high fire hazard. After inspecting noticed a crack in the original plastic valve cover leaking oil once warmed up. We remedied this by replacing the valve cover along with the gasket. No more leaks for this N54

  • TSI

    TSI Wastegate Fix

    This VW Golf TSI was having under and over boost fault codes. We traced this issue back to the wastegate flapper which was locking up in place. This happens when the flapper cuts in to the bushing from continuesly momving over time. We were able to fix this by welding a new flapper and bush on to the turbo where other places would just replace an entire turbo.

  • N54 Powersteering Pump

    N54 Powersteering Pump

    This 335I had failed its wof due to a leaking power steering pump. Shortly after that the customer noted a noise from the pump and a lack of power steering. We were able to do the swap and get this car back on the road within a few hours. It proceeded to pass its WOF recheck the following day

Conveniently located on the North Shore in Birkdale. Currenty operating out of our workspace at home, we are however working towards leasing a premise in Wairua Valley so watch this space.

    I contacted Nick from BM Autowerks after I got a WOF from VTNZ which noted "front cross member surface rust developing." He was happy to do an inspection, showed me images of the issue and sent me the quote. He was able to squeeze me in on Easter weekend thankfully. When I returned to get my car, he explained to me all of the work that he had done. In summary, to do the work he took the front bumper off, front wheels and both control arms. When he removed the crash bars and cross bars, he successfully removed the rust - the before and after images were very satisfying. During the process, he noticed additional work that needs to be done, which he took pictures of and is sending me an additional quote for.

    Very happy with Nick's quick communication, as well as the work he completed. Will definitely be going back!
